False positive? pregnancy test?

a pregnancy test says on the pack results after 4 mins, the control window worked but the result window was cleared but then turned very faint positive spot (which it should do) but this was like 30 mins after.



was that test still a positive, i was actually pregnant at the time didnt know.



it was done late in the day though and i dont think i weed on it alot x has it happened to you?

I would get another test. I have taken many many tests and every one has been right. My pregnancy test from my daughter fell behind a cabinet and I found it the other day and it still says pregnant it didn't change. My negative ones from back in the day didn't change either. Better yet to make sure it is right go to your dr. or a clinic to get a test. Most clinics do them for free in case cost or insurance is an issue to you.

Reply:if it said that is positive then girl you are i still have mine and it was a long time ago and it hasent change so i think you are good luck... if you think is wrong just buy another one....
Reply:I have had test turn positive after extended periods of time and not been pregnant, the manufacturers can only guarantee the results within their time frame after that anything else could cause a reaction and then appear as positive. I kept the test I did when I fell pregnant with my first baby but now it has gone back to clear.
Reply:If I were you, I would take another pregnancy test again. Another alternative that you can look into is to see a doctor and request for a blood test.
Reply:i say get a new test and take it first thing in the morning thats when your hormones are more potent in your urine! try it again!!! etp or clear blue easy are the best ones to get! I f you dont think you went on it enough get a small cup or sorts and pee in it, then dip the tip so you know for sure its enough! good luck
Reply:Take another test, but to get any kind of positive reading, you have to be pregnant, so most likely you are.
Reply:sometimes it can take longer.....but take another to be sure or have a dr do a test
