How long does it take marijuana to get out of your system.?

For a person who smokes about two hits a year. And why can't people give a straight answer?



Every where i look people say 90 days...3 days...a YEAR?!?



Here's the deal, i smoked weed over a month ago for the first time in a year+. A few days ago I had a saliva test for a job (i had no idea about it at the time i smoked) I just want to know how long it will take to clear out of my system.



Yeah yeah i know marijuana is illegal, bad etc... I hate it anyway.

the answer is about 28 days. there are other factors involved though. body fat has the largest factor. thc (the drug in mary) is stored in your fat cells. the bigger the person, the longer it takes to dissolve. the other thing is usage. if you take one hit, and dont weigh more than horse, it would probably last no more than 2 weeks.

Reply:There's many factors. First of all, it depends on what kind of test they do. The saliva one is the most ineffective way to test for drugs. I passed one of those after smoking weed two weeks before that and I used to smoke all the time. Most of the time it will be around 30 days if they do a urine or a blood test. THC sticks to your fatty cells so if you work out a lot and burn fat it will get out of your system quicker than somebody who doesn't work out. If they do a hair test then I'm not sure, that can be around 90 days. But you had the saliva test so you should be fine.

Reply:well, I think it takes about 30 days, and with you not smoking it since then, I am sure you are gonna pass the test... I did not know they tested for that thru saliva, I thought it was just urine tests or hair or blood that detected that.... unless like in hair test it goes back 5 years of all the stuff you have done.... I don't think so, You should be fine...
